In 1988 she accepted a position as Regional Manager of
C.U.C International, a company specializing in restaurant marketing.
During her tenure, she logged hundreds of thousands of miles of air travel
expanding the company’s territory and increasing market penetration.
She subsequently became Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Regency Athletic Club in Minneapolis, where she was directly
responsible for growing the membership by 113% in her first year.
She was recruited by the Greater Minneapolis Convention & Visitors
Association as Director of Sales and Marketing and was able
to deliver similar stellar results.
In 1993, she co-founded Gruggen Buckley. In addition to managing
all financial matters for the company, she is also in charge of all
administrative functions, human resources, benefits, equipment,
computer systems and capital improvements.
